Very fruitful weekend spent with our old friend/uni-mate/ex business partner and her cute family. Thankful that we made the decision to go for bigger unit to rent/buy so we always have extra room to host our family and close friends. It’s super fun to having stay together for a few days catch up with our life, update on mutual friends and having the kids to play together. S and me have been talking about this trip for almost a year! finally make it happen before QQ turns 2 (yes he is one year older than pettie Chloe but taller than her).
We managed to visit a playground, Sentosa and a bbq dinner at home together with another friend! It was fun to have them around although it was a short stay, Chloe especially love their company she went on and on asking “where is my qian qian didi?” QQ is really a super funny and cute little boy, every simple movements/actions bring so much laughter to us! really a 开心果.
S and i shared many similarities and thoughts of raising our kids, both of us are now sahm with no help (except husband and parent occasionally) but we have no regret of our choice. I cherish every moments sharing with her, because she just know what i’m thinking inside and the struggles, the aim and how God provides us with an ok/enough life that we lack of nothing. We agree that if we’re not Christian we surely out there working hard for more money for a “better” life instead of staying home with kids. Which remind me of something i read online “Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family” the first principle Calling – Nothing is more important in your life than being one of God’s tools to form a human soul.
This first few years of my child i wish i am able to teach her with right and wrong doing based on biblical teaching, and the authority in this family, also nurture her heart because what rules a child’s heart will control their behavior. Of course i must admit i have long way to go, i’m no way near my aim because i’m not perfect and Chloe is not perfect too.
Side-tracked so much! anyway thanks for coming dear friend! see you real soon!
